Drummondville, February 4, 2019 – UL Mutual is pleased to announce the appointment of Guillaume Fauteux as Vice-President, Business Development and Marketing in Individual Insurance and Investment & Retirement. Mr. Fauteux will be responsible for business development on a national level and the implementation of innovative strategies to help with company growth.

Over the last two years, UL Mutual has experienced significant growth in the individual insurance sector and it is taking this opportunity to enhance its team with an expert in insurance-related business development and marketing. His arrival will allow the company to strengthen its foothold in Québec, Ontario and western Canada.

Guillaume Fauteux holds a Bachelor’s degree and Master’s level education in Public Relations and Communications from the Université du Québec à Montréal and has nearly twenty years of experience in the insurance industry. He has held several positions at Québec Blue Cross and, more recently, at Munich RE, where he participated in the development of innovative insurance solutions. “Guillaume is a significant asset to our team. His expertise in business development, his strong knowledge of the insurance broker network, his analytical skills and his innovative ideas will be of great benefit to our partners and mutualists,” said Julie Michaud, Senior Vice-President, Individual Insurance and Investment & Retirement at UL Mutual.

UL Mutual would like to welcome Mr. Fauteux, who will be joining the management team on Monday, February 4.
