This evolution highlights our core values of commitment and customer focus, even as we remain the same insurance company serving Canadian families,” said a delighted Christian Mercier, UV Insurance’s Chief Executive Officer.

This new brand image positions UV Insurance as an insurer on a human scale where members and customers can feel confident and secure, backed by a solid network of advisors and partners.

The new logo with modern accents maintains links with the past including the use of the colour blue and the letters U and V, all of which is supported by a solid, upright typeface reminiscent of the company’s financial and structural strength. The triangles symbolize stability and success, while their interlocking evokes the close relationship between UV Insurance, its external advisors and its customers. “Throughout the redesigning process, we’ve listened to our employees, our network, and our customers to create a graphic universe and a positioning that represents our market reality,” added Mercier.

A redesigned, cleaner and more user-friendly website has been launched at www.uvinsurance.ca. There will be other initiatives in store as the new image is phased in over the next few months. While the new UV Insurance trademark is now in force, the company’s legal name remains The Union Life Mutual Assurance Company.
