Rimouski, August 27, 2018 – M@gik-Net is pleased to announce the appointment of Marc Giguère as General Manager. The appointment follows UL Mutual’s recent acquisition of M@gik-Net.

A passionate entrepreneur and experienced insurance and service provider manager, Mr. Giguère has over 20 years of experience in designing, developing and managing various innovative technology and service products. Over the years, he has carved himself a place within the industry through leadership positions at renowned companies such as Desjardins Financial Security, Assistel and, more recently, Novus Health Canada. Mr. Giguère has a bachelor’s degree in communication psychosociology and a master’s degree in communications from the Université du Québec à Montréal. “I’m very pleased that Marc will be at the head of M@gik-Net. He has the expertise required to take our IT solutions to the next level,” said Serge Tremblay, founder of M@gik-Net, who will be accompanying Mr. Giguère throughout the transition period.

M@gik-Net has recently been acquired by UL Mutual, an insurance company which is headquartered in Drummondville. The latter will act as strategic and financial partner, while M@gik-Net will continue to operate entirely autonomously with its existing team in Rimouski.
