Privacy Policy
At The Union Life Mutual Assurance Company (hereinafter “UV Insurance”), we are committed to protecting the privacy of our clients, employees and agents, and to ensuring the confidentiality of the personal information provided to us in the course of our business.
Personal information is any information about an individual that identifies him or her, such as financial, lifestyle or health information. Personal information is confidential, meaning that it cannot be disclosed without the consent of the individual concerned.

Questions and Complaints Regarding the Protection of the Information Policy
In accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable privacy laws, you have the right to access, rectify, withdraw consent and information. If you have any questions or concerns regarding our Privacy Policy or to exercise your rights or make a complaint, you are entitled to contact our Privacy Officer. This is a free process.

- You will receive an acknowledgement of receipt within five (5) days of receipt of your request and/or complaint.
- Thereafter, the Privacy Officer will respond to you in writing promptly, and no later than thirty (30) days from the date of receipt of your request.
- Any refusal by UV Insurance to comply with a request will be explained in writing and will indicate the provision of the law on which our refusal is based as well as the remedies available to challenge the refusal and the time limit within which they must be exercised. UV Insurance will also provide assistance to help you understand the denial.
