Drummondville, March 15, 2022 - As the mortgage season gets closer, UV Insurance is introducing a new 25-year term life insurance coverage and enhances My Universe technology platform.

On May 27, UV Insurance was awarded the Napoleon prize by the Drummond Chamber of Commerce and Industry in the category of service company with more than 10 employees.

Today, UV Insurance is launching Immediate Underwriting ─ a brand new simplified issue process for term life insurance. As the latest addition to our line of simplified issue products already available on My Universe electronic platform, it is in keeping with the major technological shift that the company has made in recent years.

Christian Mercier, Chief Executive Officer of UV Insurance is pleased to announce the appointment of Pierre Parenteau to the senior management team as Senior Vice-President, Actuarial and Finances. He thus succeeds Luc Pellerin, who will continue in his role as Appointed Actuary on an interim basis while serving as Senior Vice-President, Strategy and Transformation until his retirement in 2022.

In this special year when a significant portion of the community is vulnerable, UV Insurance is working to restore hope to people in need. As the holiday season approaches, the company wants to significantly increase its support for a community organization that is important to it. This year, the company will therefore donate a total of more than $50,000 to United Way on behalf of itself and all of its business partners.

As part of World Car-Free Day, UV Insurance is pleased to announce its commitment to the Tree of Intercooperation, a solidarity-based alternative led by SOCODEVI to offset and capture greenhouse gases. Through this initiative, nearly 200 trees were planted in Quebec to offset UV Insurance’s greenhouse gas emissions, including those produced when using corporate vehicles.

The new UV Insurance head office is officially ready to begin operations at 1990 Rue Jean-Berchmans-Michaud, in Drummondville, almost one year to the day after construction began. The construction of the new five-storey building, located along Highway 20, was completed on schedule thanks to the extremely efficient partners and suppliers involved in the project.
